A message from Suzi…

I founded Next Steps in April 2017, a few months after my mother (Uschi) died.

Helping my father care for mum as she neared the end of her life, holding vigil at her bedside on the night she died, and supporting dad through the enormity of his grief (whilst in mourning myself) has given me a deep personal insight into the devastating impact of life-limiting illness and loss. This insight now underpins my many years of training and experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing.

In creating Next Steps, my vision is to blend my professional practice with all that life has taught me about living, dying, and grieving. My hope is to offer a therapeutic service which supports and empowers other people in the community as they navigate their own experiences of death and dying.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS…

Next Steps is currently in the process of expanding its services and will soon be inviting more practitioners, group facilitators and volunteers to join the team. Please bear with us if we cannot see you straight away. We will do our best to return your call or email within 48 hours of receiving your message and will arrange an appointment time for you as soon as possible.

Our office is staffed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 2pm and 5pm.
